Access Donegal Guest Contribution - The Training & Progression team at the Bluestack Special Needs Foundation

We are delighted to feature contributions from the wonderful Training & Progression Programme at the Bluestack Special Needs Foundation on Access Donegal!

Claire tells us that she would recommend visiting Donegal Castle. Donegal Castle is in the centre of Donegal Town and affords visitors the fantastic opportunity to walk around a 15th century Norman Tower house https://heritageireland.ie/places-to-visit/donegal-castle

Catherine whose favourite place in Donegal is the Bluestack Foundation 😊 The Bluestack Special Needs Foundation provide direct supports to children and adults with disabilities and additional needs. A must visit within walking distance of Donegal town centre, their Bluestack Shack is a social enterprise coffee shop where you can enjoy their delicious food and beverages with a breathtaking view over Donegal Bay https://www.bluestackfoundation.com

Patrick loves to walk the mature oak woodland trails along Lough Eske enjoying being in nature and the views of the lake https://www.alltrails.com/ar/trail/ireland/lough-eske-nature-loop-trail--2

David enjoys visiting Harvey’s Point Hotel on the shores of Lough Eske, which is one of Ireland’s most luxurious hotels, enjoying their hospitality and views of the picturesque Bluestack Mountains https://www.harveyspoint.com

Jude loves to cycle around beautiful Donegal particularly Dungloe and would love to take the boat to Árainn Mhor Island  https://www.govisitdonegal.com/things-to-do/places-to-see/arranmore-island-(arainn-mhor) to cycle around that beautiful island off our coast.
